United Against Hate Week
As the dangers of hate, racism, and bigotry grow more apparent every day, the need for local action to counter hate is urgent. Our City Council and Burlingame's United Against Hate Committee invite you to join us for a week of civic action to stop hate and build inclusion. Show your support by printing the “BURLINGAME STANDS UNITED AGAINST HATE” poster and hang it in your home or business window. We also hope you will join us for one or more events during UAH week designed to engage adults, teens, and children. This series -- and follow-up events continuing into 2021 -- will do more than just raise awareness about the dangers of hate and the need for respect and civil discourse. They will help our community build stronger connections with civic leaders, businesses, and schools, and promote deeper engagement year-round. Safety from hate and intolerance are vital building blocks for inclusive, equitable, and healthy communities. Please join us for #BurlingameUnitedAgainstHate Week 2020!
