Mandatory Measures checklists must be submitted with a building permit application for the following projects:

All New Residential Buildings:
New residential buildings must be designed to include the Green Building mandatory measures specified in this checklist. These Green Building mandatory measures also apply to additions or alterations of existing residential buildings where the addition or alteration increases the building's conditioned area, volume, or size. These requirements apply only to the specific area of addition or alteration.

Alterations or Additions to Existing Non-Residential Buildings:
Building additions of 1,000 square feet or more AND/OR building alterations with a permit valuation of $200,000 or more must be designed to include Mandatory Green Building Measures outlined in this checklist.

All New Non-Residential Buildings
New non-residential buildings must be designed to include the Green Building mandatory measures specified in this checklist. This will be verified during plan check.

2019 CALGREEN - Non-Residential New Buildings will be verified during plan check.
