Summit Drive Culvert Repair

This project consisted of replacing a collapsed 42" by 25' long corrugated metal pipe culvert that is situated under Summit Drive between Hillside Circle and Canyon Road. The culvert serves Easton Creek and is vital to the upstream property owners that abut the creek. This project was completed on August 22, 2018.
Scope: The project consisted of potholing existing utilities at least three weeks prior to mobilizing to site, temporary bypass of stream flows, new curb inlet, excavation, removal of portions of existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP), installation of new storm drain culvert and a new storm drain line, cast-in-place concrete transition collar with sealing gasket, thrust blocks, temporary caps and blowoff, ductile iron potable water pipe, ductile iron fittings, dechlorination of potable water, disinfection of potable water pipe and fittings, repaving of trenches in areas shown on the project drawings, hydroseeding and revegetation.
