Office/Life Science Project

The City of Burlingame approved an application for redevelopment of a 12-acre site with three, 11-story office/life science buildings totaling 1.42 million square feet at 1200-1340 Old Bayshore Highway, zoned BFC on Monday April 1, 2024.  The project includes two, 10 and 10.5-story parking structures each with two levels of below grade parking.

City Council Meetings
On Monday, April 1, 2024 the Burlingame City Council approved an application for Commercial Design Review, Special Permits for Building Height and Development under Tier 3/Community Benefits, a Vesting Tentative Map and the associated Environmental Impact Report (EIR) including a Water Supply Assessment (WSA), for a new Office/Research & Development Project consisting of three, 11-story office/research & development buildings and two 10 and 10.5 story parking structures at 1200-1340 Old Bayshore Highway. The City Council introduced and conducted the First Reading of a proposed Ordinance adopting a Development Agreement between the City of Burlingame and DW Burlingame Owners LLC at the April 1, 2024 meeting as well.

On Monday, April 15, 2024 the City Council took final action and adopted the Ordinance for the Development Agreement related to the project. 

Planning Commission 
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on Monday, March 11, 2024, where they voted to recommend to the City Council that they approve all entitlements, the development agreement, and that they certify the Environmental Impact Report (EIR). FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
The Final EIR consists of the Response to Comments Document, which responds to the comments received during the review period of the Draft EIR and revisions made to the Draft EIR in response to these comments. Public Review and Comment Period: The Draft EIR was available for a 45-day public review between September 20, 2023 and November 9, 2023.
