1740 Rollins Road & 842 Cowan Road Pump Station Flap Gates Replacement Project

City Project No. 85830

This project improved and upgraded the pump stations that were originally constructed in the 1950's and had served their useful life. The storm pump stations are vital in preventing flooding in the affected areas. The sewage pump station provides essential service to the Rollins Road commercial/industrial area.

Scope: The work consisted of removal and replacement of ten (10) flap valves, 24-inch and 36-inch in diameter, eight (8) mounted on the stormwater pump discharge pipes and two (2) mounted on gravity storm drain pipes. There were two work sites, both stormwater pumping station locations, one at 1740 Rollins Road and the other at 842 Cowan Road.
