Burlingame Together

Simple acts of kindness in our community remind us that we are all in this together.

On April 2nd, Mayor Emily Beach announced the launch of the #BurlingameTogether campaign:

“Our tight-knit neighborhoods are a defining characteristic of Burlingame. One silver lining under COVID-19 is that we're looking out for one another more than ever before, and we're reminded how interconnected we are. I'm inspired by neighborhood grocery runs, meal chains, teddy bears in windows, inspirational words, and candles illuminating our evening porches. In that spirit, our Library Team developed the #BurlingameTogether campaign as a way to celebrate uplifting acts of kindness, and positive ways Burlingame is coping with this challenge. Please email your stories, photos, or videos to bplref@plsinfo.org, and we'll share them on our social media platforms to inspire us all.” Sharing these inspiring moments on your own social media feed can be a way to participate, too.  Be sure to use the hashtag #BurlingameTogether and tag us so we can repost them.

Special thanks to @ganeshbell for allowing us to post this thoughtful image of a note he found taped to the door of a #localbusiness Burlingame!
